Matrikas is a national community of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause professionals who show up for each other with one question: how can I support you?
It started hands on.
Sally Hayes spent 20+ years as a prenatal and postpartum massage therapist. Her practice didn't grow from paid ads. It grew from the midwives, doulas, and pelvic floor PTs who sent clients her way, and the ones she sent right back.
Then she looked around and saw the problem. Brilliant providers working in separate rooms while the families they served were hunting for referrals. No national, interdisciplinary home for the people doing this work.
So in 2019, in Los Angeles, she built one.
Matrikas
The Matrikas are a collective of Hindu goddesses that protect conception, childbirth, and children's health. Fitting, for a network of people who protect families for a living.
